I'm a guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer. I've been playing music for 45 years and teaching private and group lessons since 2004. I teach guitar, ukulele, beginning electric bass, beginning piano, voice and songwriting. I work with a lot of kids (as well as adults) and beginners. I'm extremely patient, and I enjoy getting brand new students up and running with proper techniques and good habits. The styles I teach are: rock (classic, indie, punk) folk, pop, reggae/ska funk, blues, r&b, country, some finger-picking, and a bit of classical. I can teach you any song you want to play whether it's rap, rock hip-hop or a piano piece. I will find a way to do it and make it fun. 😊 I give my students weekly assignments and enjoy watching them learn and grow. I love teaching, music, and sharing my gifts with others. My name is Tyler Shaw! I am a Music Education major that has been studying piano and voice for quite some time, over 10 years. I grew up in Kansas City and love to talk about music, theatre, sports, pretty much anything! I do have experience tutoring elementary through high school age students through a peer tutoring program within my high school volunteer program. I love teaching because I want to help you reach that "a-ha moment" where you finally understand the missing link that has been troubling you for a while. Hello! My name is Júlia Coelho and I offer courses in voice, piano, theory, and music composition. Other than applied lessons and undergraduate music history classes at UNT, I also teach in-person music group classes children and adolescents. I am a teaching artist. I am an educator of voice, piano, songwriting, theatre and playwriting. I have a M.A. degree in Musical Theatre with a Certificate in Music Composition. I compose original songs and musicals as well as perform as a singing pianist.

Kelsey is a vocalist, pianist, and audio engineer from Nicholasville, KY. She received her Bachelors’ in Vocal Performance and Music Technology at Bellarmine University. Kelsey is familiar with many styles of voice, studying classical, jazz, musical theater, in university and beyond. Kelsey has also studied advanced MIDI, recording techniques, electro-acoustic music, and soundtrack music in university for Logic Pro X and Ableton. Kelsey has taught digital music since 2019, starting by teaching at a volunteer program for disadvantaged communities in Louisville. Kelsey has also student directed the West Jessamine Middle School A Cappella choir, where she won the Best Student Arrangement Award at Voices in Harmony IV. Kelsey performed with Bellarmine’s Nouveau Gumbo jazz ensemble for two years, including last year when they performed at Euphoria Studios in New York City for Craig Harris, trombonist and score composer for "Judas and the Black Messiah".

God called me to perform and write music, and to lead others to worship through music. I perform backup guitar and vocals for my church. i have attained an Associates of Arts Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and am further pursuing my education to earn a BA in Vocal Performing. I personally have a very eclectic range of music I enjoy from Bach to Snoop Dogg. However, my favorites are Today's Christian and the Blues. My absolute favorite thing to do is to perform at church and help others enter into worship. I also enjoy performing music for my Golden Retriever, friends and family. I love to write songs and have been writing since I was a teenager. It takes time to get good at songwriting. So it has taken a little while to get this far. The more we put into music the more we get back out! Music is my true passion and I enjoy every minute of it. I love getting to teach students music. It is such a rewarding experience.

Karina is a versatile soprano with a Master’s in Music from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, and holds a Bachelor’s of Music from Loyola University New Orleans. Karina has performed roles as Königin der Nacht in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Druscilla in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, Mirette in Bluebeard’s Waiting Room by Milton Granger, Woman IV in Lera Auerbach’s challenging a capella opera, The Blind, and was most recently seen as a soloist in New Orleans Opera’s recent production of Le Nozze di Figaro. Karina’s musical proficiency allows her to specialize in, but not be limited to, such genres as classical, musical theater, jazz, and pop. She is passionate about creating a learning environment for all that is fun, educational, and free of judgment. Her teaching method is not “one size fits all”, but is instead personalized to each individual student’s needs, wants, and abilities to help them find their own healthy vocal style.

Hi! I'm Rheanna. I am an experienced classical musician and have performed in concerts as well as in musical theatre and operatic productions across NYC and abroad in Kyiv, Ukraine and Salzburg Austria. I am a New York State certified music educator with over five years of experience teaching private lessons, as well as in classroom settings. I have worked with students who range in age from 3 to 18 using a teaching philosophy that centers around creating hands-on, tactical learning experiences infused with social-emotional development in a culturally responsive environment. I am additionally a master’s degree candidate in music therapy beginning my clinical internship in the fall of 2022 at the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel.
