Kellan A.
Hi! I’m Kellan Adams! I graduated from the School of Music at UNCG several months ago now, in December! I’ve had experience in productions exemplifying voice, in choral and theatrical areas, and have been a student of voice myself for several years now - you can see this below! I love voice. My ear wants to tuck each frequency in as if they are precious - to decipher each wave. Every one and every thing has a voice. From complex, melismatic birdsong, to the sharp, quick and guttural stopping and startings of chimps, to our very own unique and multifaceted human voice. We use our voice often, so one of the biggest, most important areas to work in with learners of their own voices is vocal health. It’s actually one of the main reasons why I’ve decided to pursue studies regarding the voice in the first place. When we vocalize healthily, we produce richer sound. It’s all tied together! I also like to study languages, and I really love rhythm games! Thanks for stopping by!

Judy (Groovy Judy) Gascoyne
I'm a guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer. I've been playing music for 45 years and teaching private and group lessons since 2004. I teach guitar, ukulele, beginning electric bass, beginning piano, voice and songwriting. I work with a lot of kids (as well as adults) and beginners. I'm extremely patient, and I enjoy getting brand new students up and running with proper techniques and good habits. The styles I teach are: rock (classic, indie, punk) folk, pop, reggae/ska funk, blues, r&b, country, some finger-picking, and a bit of classical. I can teach you any song you want to play whether it's rap, rock hip-hop or a piano piece. I will find a way to do it and make it fun. 😊 I give my students weekly assignments and enjoy watching them learn and grow. I love teaching, music, and sharing my gifts with others. I'm happy to help you too! Thanks and I look forward to working with you! Cheers, Judy Gascoyne aka Groovy Judy
