About me

Hello! My name is Júlia Coelho and I offer courses in voice, piano, theory, and music composition. If you are looking for a skill-appropriate course to either start or improve on your current musical skills/technique/instrument, let me guide you through that process! For any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate reaching out! ABOUT ME: I have been teaching for over a decade (any age, ability, and style). Other than applied lessons and undergraduate music history classes at UNT, I also teach in-person music group classes children and adolescents. In addition, I perform regularly in a variety of musical event, from weekly services, to concerts, recitals, weddings, etc., often accompanying my singing with the Gothic harp, psaltery, piano, or keyboard. I record music professionally on a regularly basis (featured in 4 albums), and I have performed in several operas and chamber music concerts in the U.S. and Europe. Discontinuing lessons: 2-week heads up notice; No refunds on unused or cancelled lessons - lesson credit instead (if cancelled with more than 24h in advance); Unused lessons can be banked for a period of 3 months. Unused lessons after that time will be considered forfeited.
