I am a clarinet player and composer hoping to spread music through my teaching. I value the fundamentals of clarinet playing above all else and hope to strengthen fundamental technique, and understanding of music through the vessel of clarinet playing, or music theory. I want to enable people to explore their artistic desires through music, whether it be composition, songwriting, or performance. Learn to write music that you're interested in, perform music you enjoy playing, or learn musical skills that benefit you the most. My musical skills include: - Clarinet - Music Theory - Ear training/Aural Skills - Composition, Counterpoint, Orchestration, Song writing I love composing music, specifically large ensembles such as instrumental choirs, concert band, or orchestra. I enjoy exploring the colors of the instruments and of the ensembles I write for. I perform clarinet with many groups and love every opportunity I have to share my music with others.

Greetings! I am Chris, a pianist and educator currently based in Chicago, IL. I am honored to have two piano performance degrees, a Bachelor of Music from Biola University and a Master of Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington. Fun fact: I can trace my teaching lineage all the way back to Liszt and Beethoven! In the past few years, I have participated in competitions and music festivals on two continents and performed at venues throughout the US, most notably at Carnegie Hall’s Weil Hall. My name is Michael C. Price and I'm from Memphis located in Tennessee. I have a deep passion for music and spreading the love and joy of it with as many people as possible. I graduated high school in 2019 from THE Memphis Central High School where I first got exposure to jazz. At the moment I am in the process of obtaining my bachelors degree in Jazz Saxophone performance with a minor in Composition. I have a strong understanding of the alto saxophone and various ways to get past road blocks in students at various levels of playing. My goal as an instructor is to unlock the potential that s inside of each individual and push the limits of the performer a higher level.

I grew up in Kansas City and love to talk about music, theatre, sports, pretty much anything! I do have experience tutoring elementary through high school age students through a peer tutoring program within my high school volunteer program. I am a composer, arranger, bandleader, teacher, and trombone player who has lived and worked all over the USA. I earned undergraduate degrees in Jazz Composition and Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in 2012, a Master’s degree in Jazz Composition from The New England Conservatory in 2015, and am currently teaching and pursuing his Doctorate at the University of Northern Colorado.

My major instrument is trumpet but, I was also employed as a substitute teacher and taught in the public school system which gave me the opportunity to not only conduct orchestras consisting of violins, violas, cellos and basses as well as concert bands and stage bands but also to coach individual students on a large variety of instruments when necessary. I have taught private lessons to students of all ages on most instruments as well as in solfege and jazz theory and continue to do so today. I greatly enjoy teaching beginner/intermediate students but, I also love teaching more accomplished students who are interested in applying jazz theory to enhance their ability through improvisation and song writing. I have written a 125 page book which encompasses most of the important information gained from the years spent at music colleges with respect to jazz theory, improvisation and song writing. I am familiar with Finale Notation, Cakewalk Recording & Band In A Box Software.
