Alex Aaby is an Instrumentalist (specializing in Saxophone) and singer songwriter from the Seattle area originally. Alex currently spends a majority of his time studying at NYU, where he is on a full ride scholarship, and performing regularly in New York City. He takes inspiration from Stevie Wonder, Chick Corea, Gloria Gaynor, Led Zeppelin, John Coltrane, Vulfpeck etc. While studying in New York City Alex has had the opportunity to perform alongside and be mentored by many talented professionals including Augie Bello, Arthur Lipner, Melissa Aldana, Lenny Pickett, Benny Bennack III, and many more. As a leader performing along with incredibly talented vocalist Avery Morgan Franks his band performed at venues like Chelsea Music Hall, The Delancy, Bowery Electric, Heaven Can Wait, Berlin Under A etc. He enjoyed studying with many talented teachers at NYU, including renowned recording artist Micheal Wolff, in addition to Village Vanguard member Billy Drewes and musician Brad Shepik.

Hello everyone! My name is Chris, I'm an American musician from Seattle. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to be able to meet every student where they're at in order to help them achieve and exceed their personal musical goals. I achieve this by creating an encouraging atmosphere in lessons, with a healthy mix of fun and hard work. My background is in classical voice (Bachelor's of Voice from the University of Washington) as well as rock/pop guitar and songwriting. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello! My name is Tony Robb, I am currently a senior at Bethany College working towards my bachelor's degree in music. When I am not teaching, I sing bass for the Bethany College Oratorio Society. I sing baritone for the Bethany College Concert Choir as well. I have experience in teaching and singing classical and musical theater vocal styles. I am knowledgeable in IPA, which is the international phonetic alphabet. IPA will help students learn how to pronounce different foreign languages. Through IPA, I have learned to pronounce seven different languages. My primary focus is teaching voice lessons. I specialize in teaching tenor, bass, and baritone voices; however, I am willing to teach other voices. I enjoy teaching voice lessons because I want to see students reach their full potential in music and want every student to reach their goals. Hope to see you in class!

I am a violinist in New Orleans who specializes in jazz and other improvisational styles of music. I also have experience and expertise in theory and composition, particularly as it relates to jazz and improvisation

I have been teaching for my entire professional life, after a very brief career as a touring composer/performer. I regard myself as self-taught in spite of my many years of education: I never really started learning how and what to teach until I actually was doing it! I found it a fascinating experience and I am still learning. Some of the courses I taught at the San Francisco Conservatory are Music Composition, Harmony, Counterpoint (18th C.), The Music of Stravinsky, Early Music of Alban Berg, Sonata Forms, Twentieth Century Music, German Song, 18th - 20th Centuries, "Architectonics": experiments in compositional processes from the Middle Ages to the present; and Electronic Music: history, literature, and practice; social roles of electronic music (advertising, propaganda, and music as medicine); Electronic Music: studio techniques.

I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Violin performance. I have performed many times in New York City's prestigious Carnegie Hall, in both the Stern and Weill auditoriums, from being a finalist in many competitions. I have also participated in festivals across the US, like the Meadowmount School of Music, as well as internationally. My most recent international venues were across north eastern Italy, playing in castles, and concert halls, and also touring with the New York Youth Symphony. I have been lucky enough to be a soloist for Vivaldi Four Seasons, and the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. I have extensive chamber music as well as concertmaster experience. I was a eurhythmics and solfege tutor at Carnegie Mellon University. I've also had my pieces performed by my high school orchestra, as well as Mannes faculty. In addition to music I love traveling, playing tennis and ping pong, and strategy games. I look forward to teaching you!

I'm a guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer. I've been playing music for 45 years and teaching private and group lessons since 2004. I teach guitar, ukulele, beginning electric bass, beginning piano, voice and songwriting. I work with a lot of kids (as well as adults) and beginners. I'm extremely patient, and I enjoy getting brand new students up and running with proper techniques and good habits. The styles I teach are: rock (classic, indie, punk) folk, pop, reggae/ska funk, blues, r&b, country, some finger-picking, and a bit of classical. I can teach you any song you want to play whether it's rap, rock hip-hop or a piano piece. I will find a way to do it and make it fun. 😊 I give my students weekly assignments and enjoy watching them learn and grow. I love teaching, music, and sharing my gifts with others. I am a clarinet player and composer hoping to spread music through my teaching. I value the fundamentals of clarinet playing above all else and hope to strengthen fundamental technique, and understanding of music through the vessel of clarinet playing, or music theory. I want to enable people to explore their artistic desires through music, whether it be composition, songwriting, or performance. Learn to write music that you're interested in, perform music you enjoy playing, or learn musical skills that benefit you the most. My musical skills include: - Clarinet - Music Theory - Ear training/Aural Skills - Composition, Counterpoint, Orchestration, Song writing I love composing music, specifically large ensembles such as instrumental choirs, concert band, or orchestra. I enjoy exploring the colors of the instruments and of the ensembles I write for. I perform clarinet with many groups and love every opportunity I have to share my music with others.
