I've gained a wealth of insight and knowledge into the workings of music, bands, and the music industry, and love sharing stories about my experiences and passing all of the knowledge I've gained along to my students. I get a kick out of working with kids, and enjoy the challenges of working with more experienced adult students as well. I love to make people laugh and outside of music I'm somewhat of a foodie, I'm addicted to F1 racing, I'm an oil painter, and I love being outside.

Hi, my name is Weldon, and I am a guitarist/producer from Austin. I have been a student of music for 20 years. My musical influences include jazz and classical, and I also enjoy metal and electronica. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that the practice of music can be focused but relaxed, strict but fun. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper technique and improvisational skills. I like to tell my students that there are no wrong notes. My favorite thing about teaching is bringing a powerful mental exercise filled with emotion and spirituality that one can take with them their whole lives. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach sight singing, beginner piano, and production audio engineering. Hi, I am Onur and I am a music educator. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Guitar Performance from Indiana University with a Jazz-emphasized minor in Music Education. I have taught music for over a decade to all ages and levels. We can work on Solo and Ensemble Classical, Jazz, Rock, Country, or any genre you'd like, Guitar Composition, Jazz transcription as well as Piano, and Ukulele.

Brooke has been an active musician for 20 years, exercising her practice through solo and group performance, composition, recording and individual instruction. She is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in trumpet, voice, guitar and piano. As a singer she leads her own indie-rock band project, The Rookery, sings with 60’s soul group, Jaws of Brooklyn, and has sung with Americana-soul band, Glass Beaches. As a trumpet player, Brooke has performed with Seattle Sounder's pep band, Soundwave, and is currently lead trumpet for the soul rock band, Fast Nasties. Brooke is an avid film composer, having worked in genres of comedy, documentaries, mockumentaries, inspirational, drama, action and adventure. She hopes her teaching experience with every student of hers is a source of color, joy and love in their lives.

I have always worn many hats in my 30+ years of musical experience. From prog metal to jazz, classical to show tunes, I've played and worked in just about every guitar-related genre. In addition to my practical experience I have a BA in music and have taught and tutored in various capacities, from beginner guitar to college-level music theory. I'm also a published songwriter and composer and I have recorded and released several hundred songs. Bringing out a student's creativity is always one of my main goals when teaching.

Lars Rosager holds the degree Master of Arts in Music from San Francisco State University (2016). His approach to the guitar has taken shape through studies in jazz, the history of Spanish music, and various North Indian Classical styles. Lessons with Lars are built on the student's artistic goals, together with a historically informed review of fundamental techniques and how they apply in present-day contexts.

Hi! My name is Juanita and I love to teach piano or beginning guitar to students of all ages! I started piano lessons when I was seven years old and took lessons even after I got out of High School and into college. I had a teacher that encouraged me to start teaching and proceeded to mentor me. I like the opportunities that music has given me. I've played percussion in an orchestra, I've played for wedding, funerals and music for large events, I've been in a band that traveled and on the worship team at church, and even got a job at a nursing home because I could play the piano! I have grown children that are out of the house and have their own families. My husband and I currently only have two large dogs at home.
