About me

Lars Rosager holds the degree Master of Arts in Music from San Francisco State University (2016). His approach to the guitar has taken shape through studies in jazz, the history of Spanish music, and various North Indian Classical styles. Lessons with Lars are built on the student's artistic goals, together with a historically informed review of fundamental techniques and how they apply in present-day contexts.

Additional policies

There are a few considerations around scheduling. My availability mostly follows a regular two-semester academic year. If students are interested in the full eight-week course, then I require That we begin sessions either between the third Friday of January and the first Monday of May (inclusive), or between the last Friday of August and the third Monday of October (inclusive). This allows for some important downtime between semesters. If students prefer to meet more sporadically and/or do not mind an abbreviated version of the course, then I am happy to meet on a more flexible basis as schedules allow. Thank you.
