I’m passionate about teaching all styles — from classical to pop and beyond — and I enjoy working with students of every age and skill level. Hello, and welcome! My name is Elizabeth. I'm a classically trained pianist, and am currently working on my Master's in Collaborative Piano at the University of North Texas. I've been teaching piano since 2014, to students from all backgrounds and ages, and have enjoyed every minute of it! I have also taught in a variety of other contexts and am a ballet and ski instructor. However, music holds an especially dear place in my heart, and I've found that the connection formed through music is like no other. I believe music lessons should be a joyful, fulfilling experience. My aim is that after each lesson, you come away with a fresh perspective and a renewed energy in your music studies. Whether you are a young beginner, a college-bound advanced student, an adult beginner, or somewhere in between, you have a place at the piano bench! I am a junior Music Education and Music Performance major with a concentration in voice at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. Even in the little time I’ve been performing, I have an extensive resume which includes 5 productions with the Crane Opera Ensemble and 2 productions with La Musica Lirica, a summer program located in Italy. I have a great love for teaching, and I strive for every lesson to not only be a formative experience but to also have fun!

I've gained a wealth of insight and knowledge into the workings of music, bands, and the music industry, and love sharing stories about my experiences and passing all of the knowledge I've gained along to my students. I get a kick out of working with kids, and enjoy the challenges of working with more experienced adult students as well. I love to make people laugh and outside of music I'm somewhat of a foodie, I'm addicted to F1 racing, I'm an oil painter, and I love being outside.

Started learning by ear as a young kid (4) when my parents bought a piano, and began my classical training journey at seventeen. I was raised in a bilingual (french & english) household and worked my way through college as a pastry chef. Alex Thomen is a producer and composer currently based in Kansas City, Missouri. He received his Bachelors degree in Music Composition from Kansas State University and his Masters degree in Commercial Music Composition and Arranging from Belmont University. He has taught various classes on music, production, audio engineering, composition, and piano performance at the collegiate level. In addition, Thomen also teaches online Music Production courses through Point Blank Music School. He also works as a Pro Audio Instructor and Author for ProMedia Training, the #1 largest authorized AVID Pro Tools training organization in the U.S. When he’s not composing or teaching, Thomen can be found at Unlabeled Music Services in Kansas City, working as an audio engineer for various KC-based musicians and songwriters.

Hi! My name is Angela, and I live in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). I have been teaching piano for many years, both in-person and online. I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (BA, Music, cumma sum laude). In addition to teaching piano, I am the organist/pianist for one of the historic churches in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am classically trained (Bach, Mozart, etc.), but am also experienced in pop/rock and musical theatre/show music. In addition to playing piano, I am also a trained vocalist and choir conductor, and often I use singing and solfege in my piano lessons! Besides all things music, I enjoy knitting, traveling all around the world with my husband, and spending time with my pets.
