Hello! I am Grace. Recently I graduated from university with a bachelor's of science in music performance. The piano has been a passion of mine since I was a child. The role of the teacher and student is a significant part of my philosophy of music. We are first inspired to play, we then learn, perform, and inspire others to play. Teachers and students are what keep this music cycle going! Besides geeking out over piano and music theory, I enjoy taking walks with my new dog, drinking coffee, and watching new shows with friends. I look forward to meeting you and helping you enter this musical journey!

I enjoy the process of teaching music/piano very very much. I consider playing music the greatest of all activities. I have had many years experience to understand how and why students want to learn to play music and how to best help them to achieve their goals. Through the many years of teaching I've worked with students of all ages, from very young beginners all the way to high level students who prepared for and excelled in the NYSSMA testing. Other students simply enjoyed playing for the sheer joy of learning the instrument and preparing for recitals. I believe in understanding a student's learning style is also very important and adapting our lessons and music to best suit each individual. Music is a special gift everyone should have the opportunity to learn. I look forward to meeting and working with Tissimo students from all over the world, as I have enjoyed traveling and learning different languages and cultures.

Hello! My name is Seth Johnson. I'm a muscian who enjoys teaching people how to play piano! I've typically done this through my youtube channel, SethyjfoxMusic, where i've taught over 200,000 people how to play their favorite songs. So I hope to help you on your musical journey as well!

I graduated from the Academy of Music in Cracow and began my teaching career in 2008, both privately and in music schools. My students has won prizes at international competitions. I received awards for outstanding achievements in didactic and educational work, and obtained a certificate from the Minister of Culture in Poland in 2019. I have also won awards and got distinctions in different piano competitions, have attended international masterclasses of many renowned pianists and professors, from which I have learnt many efficient teaching methods. I performed as a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist (Poland, Italy, France, Ukraine, Austria), also have carried a variety of music and art projects. My teaching methods are engaging and creative, chosen from different piano instruction systems and adapted to students’ individual interests and goals.

Hi! My name is Sebastian but most people call me Seby. I'm from Monterrey, Mexico and I have been involved with music in some way, shape or form my entire life. Currently, I'm getting a major on Electrical Engineering and a minor in Music from Stanford University. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

I'm a guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer. I've been playing music for 45 years and teaching private and group lessons since 2004. I teach guitar, ukulele, beginning electric bass, beginning piano, voice and songwriting. I work with a lot of kids (as well as adults) and beginners. I'm extremely patient, and I enjoy getting brand new students up and running with proper techniques and good habits. The styles I teach are: rock (classic, indie, punk) folk, pop, reggae/ska funk, blues, r&b, country, some finger-picking, and a bit of classical. I can teach you any song you want to play whether it's rap, rock hip-hop or a piano piece. I will find a way to do it and make it fun. 😊 I give my students weekly assignments and enjoy watching them learn and grow. I love teaching, music, and sharing my gifts with others. Greetings! I am Chris, a pianist and educator currently based in Chicago, IL. I am honored to have two piano performance degrees, a Bachelor of Music from Biola University and a Master of Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington. Fun fact: I can trace my teaching lineage all the way back to Liszt and Beethoven! In the past few years, I have participated in competitions and music festivals on two continents and performed at venues throughout the US, most notably at Carnegie Hall’s Weil Hall. My name is Tyler Shaw! I am a Music Education major that has been studying piano and voice for quite some time, over 10 years. I grew up in Kansas City and love to talk about music, theatre, sports, pretty much anything! I do have experience tutoring elementary through high school age students through a peer tutoring program within my high school volunteer program.
