Satisfaction Guarantee: Trial Lessons

Tissimo offers a satisfaction guarantee on introductory 30-minute trial lessons. If a student is not satisfied, Tissimo refunds the lesson credit so the student can find a better match. You can browse available teachers on the teacher directory.

How the Guarantee Works

1. Student books a 30-minute trial lesson.
2. Lesson takes place.
3. If unsatisfied, student requests a refund.
4. Tissimo automatically checks eligibility and credits the refund to the student's Tissimo balance.
5. Student uses credit to book a trial with another teacher.

Protections Against Abuse

• Trials are limited to 30 minutes to respect teachers' time.
• Tissimo tracks and limits the number of trial refunds per student (maximum of 3).
• Students who abuse the guarantee are banned from the platform.

Teacher Control

Teachers on Tier 1 and above can choose whether to offer the satisfaction guarantee via Account Settings → Teaching Policies; for new (Tier 0) teachers the guarantee is always enabled.
