Get Teacher Recommendations with the Lesson Inquiry Form
You don't have to search the teacher directory on your own. If you'd like a hand choosing, fill in Tissimo's short lesson inquiry form: tell us who the lessons are for, the instrument and the level, and our support team will get back to you with teacher options and recommendations.
Where to find the form
- On the home page, click Book a lesson.
- In the teacher directory, click Help me find a teacher.
- Or go straight to tissimo.co/book-a-lesson.
Step 1 — About you
The first page of the Find a Teacher form asks for:
- Your Name (required)
- Email Address (required). This is where we'll reply.
- Student's Name (optional), if the lessons are for someone else, such as your child
- Student's Age (required)
Then click Next Step.

Step 2 — About the lessons
- Instrument (required), for example piano or guitar
- Experience Level (required): Complete Beginner, Some experience, Intermediate or Advanced
- Preferred Teacher Gender (optional): No Preference, Male or Female
- Callback Number (optional), if you'd also like us to call you
Click Submit Inquiry. Before you submit, Back takes you to the first page if you want to change anything.

What happens next
You'll see a confirmation that we've received your inquiry. A member of the support team will then reach out at the email address you gave, with teacher options and recommendations for the student's instrument, age and level.
From there you can open each teacher's profile, message them with questions, and book a trial lesson. See Booking your first trial lesson and the satisfaction guarantee for trial lessons.
Tips
- The form has no free-text box, so when support replies, tell them anything else that matters: your goals, a style you'd like to play, or the days and times that suit you.
- The form is for students and parents. It can't be sent from a teacher or affiliate account.
- Prefer to look for yourself? Browse the teacher directory and filter by instrument, price and more. Finding the right music teacher on Tissimo walks you through it.
