How to Find a Music Teacher

The teacher directory is where your search begins. You can reach it at any time from the main navigation — no account required to browse.

You will land on a grid of teacher cards, each showing a photo, name, instruments taught, starting price, and star rating.

Browsing the Grid

Teacher cards are displayed in a grid layout, making it easy to scan many teachers at once. Each card gives you the key details you need to decide whether a teacher is worth a closer look.

What each card shows:

• Profile photo — A photo of the teacher
• Name — The teacher's display name
• Instruments — The instruments they offer lessons for
• Price — Their starting rate per lesson
• Star rating — An average rating based on student reviews

Scroll down to see more teachers. The directory loads all available teachers by default, so you will see the full range unless you apply a filter.

Opening a Teacher's Profile

When a teacher card catches your eye, click the teacher's photo or name to open their full profile. The profile page gives you everything you need to make an informed decision — including a bio, detailed lesson packages, student reviews, and a preview of their availability. Tip: Open a few profiles in new browser tabs so you can compare teachers side by side without losing your place in the directory.

Browsing by Instrument

If you already know which instrument you want to study, you can jump straight to teachers for that instrument by navigating to the music teachers page and selecting your instrument from the filter. See Using Search Filters for a full walkthrough.
