Courses are how you offer your teaching services on Tissimo. Each course represents a specific instrument, subject, or teaching format that students can discover and book. A well-crafted course listing helps you stand out and attract the right students.

Getting Started

To create a new course, go to your teacher dashboard, navigate to Courses, and click Create new.

Course Details

Title

Choose a clear, descriptive title that reflects what you are teaching — for example, Beginner Piano Lessons, Advanced Guitar Technique, or Music Theory for Singers.

Instrument or Subject

Select the primary instrument or subject for this course. This determines how Tissimo categorises your course in search results.

Description

Write a detailed description covering who the course is for, what students will learn, your teaching approach, and any materials the student needs.

Course Images

• Use high-quality, professional images relevant to the instrument or subject.
• Avoid generic stock photos.
• No inappropriate or unprofessional content.

Pricing and Lesson Length

Set your hourly price and available lesson durations (30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes, or 2 hours). Consider your experience level and market rates when pricing.

Content Standards

• Use appropriate, respectful language throughout.
• Do not include personal contact details or links to external booking platforms.
• Keep all course details accurate and up to date.
