Piano Lessons Online - Find a Piano Teacher

Hi, My Name is Hongxi Han. I’m a concert pianist and master of piano performance. Central to my pedagogy is a focus on interpretation of music. I always expect my students show their intelligence and talent. Listening to ourselves would be the main focus for every level of students. Most of the ideas will be expanded from listening.

Hello! I am Grace. Recently I graduated from university with a bachelor's of science in music performance. The piano has been a passion of mine since I was a child. The role of the teacher and student is a significant part of my philosophy of music. We are first inspired to play, we then learn, perform, and inspire others to play. Teachers and students are what keep this music cycle going! Besides geeking out over piano and music theory, I enjoy taking walks with my new dog, drinking coffee, and watching new shows with friends. I look forward to meeting you and helping you enter this musical journey!

I enjoy the process of teaching music/piano very very much. I consider playing music the greatest of all activities. I have had many years experience to understand how and why students want to learn to play music and how to best help them to achieve their goals. Through the many years of teaching I've worked with students of all ages, from very young beginners all the way to high level students who prepared for and excelled in the NYSSMA testing. Other students simply enjoyed playing for the sheer joy of learning the instrument and preparing for recitals. I believe in understanding a student's learning style is also very important and adapting our lessons and music to best suit each individual. Music is a special gift everyone should have the opportunity to learn. I look forward to meeting and working with Tissimo students from all over the world, as I have enjoyed traveling and learning different languages and cultures.

I received awards for outstanding achievements in didactic and educational work, and obtained a certificate from the Minister of Culture in Poland in 2019. I have also won awards and got distinctions in different piano competitions, have attended international masterclasses of many renowned pianists and professors, from which I have learnt many efficient teaching methods. I performed as a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist (Poland, Italy, France, Ukraine, Austria), also have carried a variety of music and art projects. My teaching methods are engaging and creative, chosen from different piano instruction systems and adapted to students’ individual interests and goals.

I'm a guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer. I've been playing music for 45 years and teaching private and group lessons since 2004. I teach guitar, ukulele, beginning electric bass, beginning piano, voice and songwriting. I work with a lot of kids (as well as adults) and beginners. I'm extremely patient, and I enjoy getting brand new students up and running with proper techniques and good habits. The styles I teach are: rock (classic, indie, punk) folk, pop, reggae/ska funk, blues, r&b, country, some finger-picking, and a bit of classical. I can teach you any song you want to play whether it's rap, rock hip-hop or a piano piece. I will find a way to do it and make it fun. 😊 I give my students weekly assignments and enjoy watching them learn and grow. I love teaching, music, and sharing my gifts with others. I'm happy to help you too! Thanks and I look forward to working with you! Cheers, Judy Gascoyne aka Groovy Judy
