Samantha H. Lucas is a professional musician, actor, vocalist, and experienced vocal/piano instructor based in New York City, New York. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater Performance, Honors from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory out of Berea, OH. Her education abroad has included both Det Danske Musicalademi-Danish Academy of Musical Theater, and Barefoot Theater in Zambia, Africa.  She has had the privilege of singing and performing with the Cleveland Orchestra, The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Front Porch Theatricals, and Tony and Grammy Award-winning, Billy Porter (Pose, Kinky Boots). Samantha has worked with New York Industry and Casting Professionals including Merri Sugarman and Claire Burke—Tara Rubin Casting, Chad Eric Murnane—Binder Casting. Recently, Samantha completed her Honors Senior Thesis Project: “Resilient,” and has been honored to receive praise from John Caird (Children of Eden), Stephen Schwartz (Children of Eden, Wicked, Pippin), and Michael Cole.

Zach Henderson a.k.a. "Pantene" grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan. At an early age, Zach could hear songs and play them on piano without seeing a sheet of music. He started playing in bands, learned different instruments and taught piano lessons before graduating high school. Since then, Zach has earned a living playing in piano bars, award winning cover bands (NineMileSmile, Great Scott), Entertainment Corporations (Midwest Dueling Pianos) and has also joined original projects (Edison Kitt and the Strangers) lending powerful vocals and fiddle. Zach currently lives in East Lansing where he studies composition with the Grammy Nominated Venezuelan Composer Ricardo Lorenz, and classical piano with Dr. Tamar Mikeladze at MSU's College of Music. During his free time, he likes to play tennis, go mountain biking, and write/arrange music for string quartets, bands, and corporate organizations.

In spring of 2022 I received my Bachelor's degree in music (Orchestral Strings Performance) from university of California, Northridge. As of now, I am continuing my studies to obtain a master's degree in the same area. During my studies, I have performed with orchestras and collaborated with music bands in different genres. My passion for music has made me go beyond the courses offered at the university and will always try to go even further. Anything related to music is fun to learn and even more fun to teach. At the same time, Music requires focus, attention, dedication and practice. If you already have being learning music and enjoying it, I encourage you to never stop and dig in more, as the music is a never-ending world. And if you are just picking up the instrument and have a purpose for it I would like to congratulate you on your decision. Hello! My name is Emily and I am currently a student at the University of North Texas studying Clarinet Performance and Marketing. I have been playing clarinet for 9 years and have been teaching for the last 4 years! I work with students of a variety of ages and abilities and tailor lessons to best fit the student's needs as music is certainly not one size fits all. In addition to clarinet, I have been playing piano for 15 years and have also been teaching for the last few years. Piano was my first introduction to playing a musical instrument and it has definitely shaped me into the person and educator that I am today. I have taught students from absolute beginners to those already proficient in the instrument and love to teach using a variety of styles of music! We can learn classical, pop, musical theatre, a mixture of them all, or really anything you want. I hope to create an environment for students to feel safe to make mistakes and learn so they too can find a love in music.

Hi! I'm Eleni Zeniou, MSc and I hope to be your new piano teacher. I have been teaching music for over 20 years now and love every minute of it. I love observing how musical knowledge transforms my students' approach to all manner of knowledge. From the first experience of sound creation to working on the most complex of music, every step opens up a world of opportunities for expression, interpretation and wonder. I aim to arm each of my students with the basic practical and theoretical tools so that, at each level, they are simultaneously students and masters of their art. My focus is classical music, from Baroque to the early 20th century. Though I have a specific syllabus which I follow, I do like to design my piano courses according to the needs of each particular student. We are all unique, after all, a fact that we need to respect and celebrate.

I am a piano and theory teacher of just over two years, with experience in teaching beginner-intermediate level students from ages 6-20 years old. I provide personalized enthusiastic lessons which are best tailored to fit my individual students' needs, goals, and skills. I have over 10 years of private training in keyboard and 5 years of theory, composition, and ear training experience, currently enrolled for my second year at UCSC pursuing a bachelor's in Jazz and Spontaneous Composition with a keyboard emphasis. I have played as an accompaniment for strings ensembles, and am currently part of a Jazz Band at UCSC, well versed in Jazz, Classical, Pop, Blues, and modern styles. I understand that musical goals and aspirations vary from person to person, but my dedication to reaching helping you reach those goals does not. I have utmost patience for beginners, and believe in putting a healthy amount of pressure on those who have foundational skills to keep improving.

With 15 years of experience in piano performance, I am an Iranian pianist, piano teacher and composer based in Philadelphia. My interest in pedagogy and psychology has led me through my teaching career, having the opportunity to accompany music students of different ages and different levels. In addition to my activities as an accompanist at Temple University, I am serving as a piano instructor at Cunningham Music School. My pedagogical activities have also expanded beyond the United States, holding online lessons and in-person masterclasses and workshops for Iranian students within Iran. Moreover, during the past two years, I have founded and coordinated Pianozi, a piano pedagogy team providing piano lessons for Iranian students. My teaching experience has moved in two directions of children's pedagogy and intermediate-advanced teaching.

Guitarist, composer and producer Rod Ferreira has performed across the USA sharing the stage with lots of talented musicians. He has recorded several albums and enjoys teaching musicians of all ages and styles. While living in Brazil he earned several diplomas in piano, harmonica, bass, music theory and guitar. Graduated with a bachelor's degree in music from the University of North Dakota he started to teach guitar at several music schools and studios which lead him to write three guitar guides.
