TromboneI am a composer and instrumentalist based near Salt Lake City, UT. I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Brigham Young University and have been trained in music theory, history, and composition as well as in trombone technique. My goal as your teacher is to encourage you to develop the skills you already have and to help you gain knowledge that will allow you to increase upon those skills.

During my senior year of high school, I taught trombone lessons to middle school students and helped them improve their technical skill on the instrument.
I had the wonderful opportunity to fill the trombone seat in the pit orchestra for Viewmont High School's production of Fiddler on the Roof. I also played in the pit orchestra for BYU's production of Wonderland in spring of 2019.
In August 2020, I participated in an online internship with the aforementioned composer Benjamin Dean Taylor. He taught me about various aspects of the business of composing and had me do some organizational work on his website. It was a great learning experience for me.
I am currently helping compose music on a video game project headed by my brother-in-law. It is slow progress, but it is lots of fun!
Graduated with a BM in Music Composition from Brigham Young University, April 2022
