About me

I am a voice teacher of over 15 years. I have a BA in Vocal Performance from Bethel University and am one semester away from completing my Masters in Vocal Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College. I love musical theatre, pop music, country music, folk music, contemporary Christian music and gospel music and I have performed in all of these genres. My goal for my students is to strengthen the good techniques (and we all have them) and work to shut down the bad habits that keep singers from realizing their full potential. I work with my students on their understanding of music theory (reading music), producing the music in a healthy way and telling the story through song. I believe all who can talk can sing and I want to help others overcome the obstacles keeping them from raising their voice!
