My name is Mark Jones (he/him) and I want to share the joy of clarinet with you by having you play the music you love from the first lesson. No matter your age or experience, I want you as my student! To learn an instrument and love doing it, I know it is critical to learn by playing the music that you love and is a part of your identity. No matter if you want to play classical or funk, metal or broadway tunes, I want to best guide you in your music making and have fun along the way! I am currently studying Music Education at Ithaca College and have 13 years of playing experience and five years of teaching experience. I have taught private lessons in person and online for the past couple years to young through adult students. I also have experience leading general music classes for kindergarten through fifth grade on ukuleles and bucket drumming. I love adventuring, hiking, gardening, and anything outdoors. I also have a super cute axolotl named Oliver.

Alex Aaby is an Instrumentalist (specializing in Saxophone) and singer songwriter from the Seattle area originally. Alex currently spends a majority of his time studying at NYU, where he is on a full ride scholarship, and performing regularly in New York City. He takes inspiration from Stevie Wonder, Chick Corea, Gloria Gaynor, Led Zeppelin, John Coltrane, Vulfpeck etc. While studying in New York City Alex has had the opportunity to perform alongside and be mentored by many talented professionals including Augie Bello, Arthur Lipner, Melissa Aldana, Lenny Pickett, Benny Bennack III, and many more. As a leader performing along with incredibly talented vocalist Avery Morgan Franks his band performed at venues like Chelsea Music Hall, The Delancy, Bowery Electric, Heaven Can Wait, Berlin Under A etc. He enjoyed studying with many talented teachers at NYU, including renowned recording artist Micheal Wolff, in addition to Village Vanguard member Billy Drewes and musician Brad Shepik.

Hello! My name is Emily and I am currently a student at the University of North Texas studying Clarinet Performance and Marketing. I have been playing clarinet for 9 years and have been teaching for the last 4 years! I work with students of a variety of ages and abilities and tailor lessons to best fit the student's needs as music is certainly not one size fits all. In addition to clarinet, I have been playing piano for 15 years and have also been teaching for the last few years. Piano was my first introduction to playing a musical instrument and it has definitely shaped me into the person and educator that I am today. I have taught students from absolute beginners to those already proficient in the instrument and love to teach using a variety of styles of music! We can learn classical, pop, musical theatre, a mixture of them all, or really anything you want. I hope to create an environment for students to feel safe to make mistakes and learn so they too can find a love in music.

Noah Vece graduated in 2011 with a degree in Saxophone Performance from Kennesaw State University and is currently completing a Master's degree in Multiple Woodwinds from New Jersey City University. He's studied with numerous artists including Todd Groves, Dave Noland, Sam Skelton, Ed Joffe, and Tony Carere among many others. His experience playing a wide range of woodwind instruments has put him in much demand in the theatre industry, with 3 international tours, contracts with cruise agencies, and over 40 musical credits to his name since 2014. In addition to performing, Noah is passionate about teaching and is a Vandoren Regional Artist-Clinician conducting educational clinics at schools, businesses, and conferences around the New York City area.

Hello everyone! I am currently a student at Wayne State College pursuing my degrees in Psychology and Music Performance with a vocal emphasis. I have been a musician since I could speak and teaching privately is my passion! I will be going to graduate school to receive my degree in Music Therapy with specializations in physical and mental disabilities. I play 15 instruments and am involved in mens choir (I sing Tenor I), concert choir (I sing Alto I), Chamber Choir (I sing Alto II and Tenor II), and other ensembles such as mariachi and jazz band! I can't wait to meet you and help you achieve your musical dreams!

Guitarist, composer and producer Rod Ferreira has performed across the USA sharing the stage with lots of talented musicians. He has recorded several albums and enjoys teaching musicians of all ages and styles. While living in Brazil he earned several diplomas in piano, harmonica, bass, music theory and guitar. Graduated with a bachelor's degree in music from the University of North Dakota he started to teach guitar at several music schools and studios which lead him to write three guitar guides.

Hi! I'm Veronica and I'm a senior at Williams College studying music and psychology. I have over a decade of flute performance experience and have performed with ensembles at the New England Conservatory Prep, New England Music Camp, Rivers School Conservatory, Noble and Greenough School, and Williams College. I have been selected to perform in an Honor Recital at New England Music Camp and have performed in MMEA Eastern District Festivals. In Fall of 2021, I spent my semester abroad in Vienna, Austria to study flute performance, chamber music, and composition. Notable teachers include Jacqueline DeVoe, Furugh Karimi, Ulrike Anton, Sarah Schettler, Jessica Lizak, and Ellen Bender. I am excited to be a part of your musical journey.
