Viva Voce: Finding Your Voice through Viola/Violin

This course is accessible to musicians of all levels, and it is intended to be an introduction to my other courses on the violin and the viola. The class will use singing, the basic foundation for mus

ic making, as a pedagogical tool. We will sing in order to develop our ears, experiment with different styles of phrasing, and practice an awareness of bow control. Experiments from this course will continue to be useful warmups in all future violin and viola practice.
