Music Fundamentals

In this course students will be able to notate and name notes on the bass and treble clef staffs. Learn notes symbols of rests and duration with different key signatures and major and minor scales.

Study notes that extend above and below the staff which are ledger lines and learn the location of the clefs on the music staff and learn and analyze the keys on the piano keyboard as well as the whole and half steps. Also analyze intervals and accidentals symbols as well as octaves in music notation. Study the diatonic and chromatic scales and pitches, tempo markings.
