Advanced Oboe Lessons

This course is designed for the seasoned oboist. Students in this course should already know the fundamentals of producing sound, generating good tone, be able to comfortably read music up to a high s

tandard, have a strong sense of musicality, and have a desire to learn the more intricate nature of playing the oboe. In this course, the student should be interested in developing specific aspects of their playing. Depending on their needs, we may focus on extending the student's range, improving technical fluidity in fast passages, practice overcoming performance anxiety, or work on specific pieces of music for upcoming auditions or competitions.
